Multimarz (@multimarz) | Chicago, IL

Matt Marzahl is a Chicago based creative and photographer from a small town in Northern Illinois. College athletics and a pursuit of becoming a lawyer brought him to the University of Illinois at Chicago. After years of residing in the windy city, what began as an affinity for the culture soon became a complete immersion in becoming not only a part of the Chicago creative scene but also a main contributor. Matt’s love for sneakers and fashion ultimately started his journey with photography that flourished into much more. The 26-year-old realized that through social media, he could leverage his artistry and relationships to gain access to new experiences and places. From city skylines, to studio sessions with Jay-Z, the self-taught photographer has a diverse portfolio where he strives to give his audience an inside look at his everyday life. Matt photographs sports, fashion, and architecture but mostly invests his talent in the world of music. With crips candids of Rick Ross, A$AP Rocky, Chance The Rapper, and other en-vogue emcees, the Illinois native’s work is an addictive, insider look at contemporary rap royalty. Matt’s hip-hop photographs have been widely recognized by the artists he shoots and his continued success photographing musicians allows him access into the world of hip-hop.
